Current Meters around Hawaii
Current meters have been deployed in Hawaiian waters in many
locations, although most series are under a year in length.
A variety of instruments have been employed from standard
mechanical to fixed-mounted Acoustic Doppler Current Profiles
(ADCPs). Presently, the data sets are not available online,
but requests are welcome. The National Oceanographic Center
Liaison Office in Hawaii is very eager to accept contributions
for this growing archive of current meter information. Please
let me know if you know or have a contact for a dataset that
has not listed below.
