Presently a query tool is not provided at this web site. However, the lists below should satisfy the more common requests. If one desires online data, go into any of the HTML table listings and click on the numerical tag associated with a given cruise. (For those without a browser that handles HTML 3.+ tables, determine the numerical tag for the cruise you desire from the ASCII lists, then go into the HTML table, albeit ugly, and click on the highlighted tag).

As of April 2002, WOCE Version 3.0 formatted netCDF files are available for the hourly-averaged subsets of all cruises. In addition, the data are on an OpenDAP (DODS) server , as well as a Climate Data Portal.

The NODC would like to know about your intended use if you plan to download data.
