Joint Archive for Shipboard ADCP - Online Inventory

High resolution datasets in CODAS format are available upon request only. One may anonymously download the averaged data (hourly in time, 10 m in depth), referred to as the NODC standard subsets, as found below, in ASCII text or NetCDF format.

One may also access the data via an OpenDAP (DODS) server , as well as a Climate Data Portal.

The NODC would like to know about your intended use if you plan to download data.

With the arrival of various types of ADCPs, some with multiple modes such as the Ocean Surveyor, one cruise may have multiple ADCP sets of varying degrees of depth penetration versus resolution. For the following lists, "CRUISE" is appended with the instrument-frequency-mode information. The default is NB150, the historically most common instrument.
